This list is based on the ranking of Global Firepower. There are some factors considered to come with the list and not just the total number of weapons. More than 50 factors are considered in ranking the 133 countries evaluated and in determining a country’s Power Index Score. These factors include the diversity of the weaponry, nuclear stockpile, geographical factors (natural resources, local industry influences), and available workforce.
1. The United States.
The United States lands the number one spot in this year’s ranking. It has a total military personnel of 2,363,675, a total aircraft strength of 13,762, a total of 415 naval assets, armored fighting vehicles of about 41,062.
