Asthma attacks can happen anytime. It results in difficulty in breathing and, if not treated immediately, may be fatal. Even then, asthma attacks can be prevented and managed as well. Here are some home remedies for asthma.
1. Stay calm
When asthma attacks, stay calm. With your eyes closed, inhale. Imagine that you’re lungs are expanding. You are now filling them with air. Exhale. Repeat this for a couple more times. Once your breathing stabilizes, you can take a cup of coffee or any caffeinated drinks to help open your airways. Caffeine contains a chemical substance called theophylline, known to help in dilating the air passages.
