Cold sores or fever blisters cause discomfort and are unsightly as they form around the lips. Some of them just go away, at times you may need to consider one of these tips to cure those cold sores.
1. Petroleum Jelly.
Soothe your cold sores by dabbing some petroleum jelly on it. Petroleum jelly creates a protective barrier that will keep it from getting worse, thus helping it to heal faster.
2. Lemon Balm.
Any lip balm with at least one percent of lemon will do. Or you can dab lemon peels on your mouth as this provide a
similar benefit.
3. Meditate.
Take your mind off your those things that will create stress in your life. Meditation will invigorate your spirit and will allow you to relax a bit. Meditation eases and quickens the healing of your cold sores.
4. Exercise.
Working out releases body sweat and improves blood circulation. It allows the pore to open up when you sweat and makes the skin supple after an hour or two of working out as this eliminates the dryness around the lips that could worsen your cold sores.
5. Ice.
Apply a cold pack around your lips to lessen the discomfort that these fever blisters bring.
