Onions provide relief by killing germs causing infections. They have antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. As soon as you detect a toothache, chew a raw onion or just place it on the affected tooth.
Hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria in the mouth and relieves the pain. Swoosh 3% hydrogen peroxide. Make sure you rinse it off with some water.
Take a spoonful of baking soda and put into a glass of warm water. Stir to dissolve the baking soda. Swoosh the mixture in your mouth. You should this repeatedly until you start feeling the relief.

When your teeth are sensitive, then you must opt for toothpaste meant specifically for sensitive teeth. They are readily available in the supermarkets and stores. Use a tooth with soft bristles. This will help you avoid damaging your gums leading to more pain.
SOFTENED CHEWING GUM
If the pain is due to a lost filling or a loose filling, you can temporarily relieve the pain by holding it in place with a softened chewing gum. This will help to cover the exposed area in the case of a lost feeling.
