Laser Surgery Treatment for Stretch Marks

in Stretch Marks

Teenage girls get stretch marks as they approach puberty because of the sudden burst of growth; stretch marks are commonly found on their breasts, thighs, upper arms and shoulders.

Laser surgery is an alternative that basically addresses two types of stretch marks; the recent stretch marks are usually treated with pulsed dye laser while older ones, which are tougher, are treated with a new laser treatment called xtrac laser and Relume light source.

Dermabrasion is a surgical procedure that involves the scraping off of the superficial layers of the skin by using a machine that looks like a belt sander; however, while it does not rebuild tears in the connective skin tissue, it does make the skin appear smoother & softer.

I would advise you not to waste your money on collagen creams that claim to get of stretch marks because these claims have been refuted.

Looking beautiful is a priority for many women and this is why the presence of stretch marks can cause frayed nerves.
