- Ginger.
Like peppermint, you can consume ginger in any of these ways: slice it up and chew a few slice during the day; make a cup of tea from either a powdered or a boiled ginger root; drink flat ginger ale.
- Eggs.
Eggs have cysteine, an amino acid that helps metabolize acetaldehyde you get from the alcoholic content you consume. Enjoy them as you like.
- Soup.
Enjoying a bowl of hot soup not only replenish the fluids that you lose after drinking alcohol drinks. It also perks you up and lessens headache pains caused by drinking.
- Banana.
Bananas contain potassium that you need to replenish as they may all have been flushed out with your frequent visit to the bathroom the night before. It also has the nutrients that your body need to heal itself of a headache and tummy ache.
- Take a bath.
Freshen up to lessen after-drinking effects. It may not entirely take away your hangover, but it will at least reduce the effect and keep you on your toes so you can think better and do other things than just focus on the accompanying head and body pain that accompany a hangover.
